Report: Google staff test “Gemini 4 Carbon” on internal coding platform Jetski
Business Insider reports Google employees are testing a newer Gemini 4 version codenamed Carbon on Jetski, Google's internal coding platform; one employee said it “feels like Opus 5.5” for coding but needs more testing. It may be a checkpoint of Gemini 4 Argon. Unconfirmed: Google declined to comment, and there is no release date, pricing or public benchmark.
