Sourcegraph Cody is an AI coding assistant that uses Sourcegraph's code search for context across huge codebases. Since July 2025 it is Enterprise-only; individuals were pointed to Amp, now a separate company.
What is Sourcegraph Cody?
Cody's strength is context: it pulls symbols, APIs and usage patterns from local and remote repositories via Sourcegraph Search.
For individual developers, Amp is the spiritual successor.
